Welcome to my world of design. I’d love for you to take a seat and stay awhile.
(This theoretical seat is likely a colorful slipper chair, a perfect mix of transitional and thoughtful style, sturdy enough to withstand kids jumping on it, but comfortable enough for an afternoon's worth of entertaining guests.)
I’m Anne, behind Anne Pulliam Interiors
FOUNDED IN 2020 | BASED IN Virginia
I founded Anne Pulliam Interiors in 2020 with a deep love for thoughtful, timeless design — and today, I feel lucky to lead a talented team of six who share that same passion.
Together, we take on every part of the design process — from creative direction to project management — with a hands-on, personal approach. Whether we're designing a forever home or a weekend retreat, our goal is always the same: to create spaces that feel effortless, collected, and full of heart.
Meet the Team
Anne Pulliam Interiors' team environment allows me to personally focus on both your high-level design and the intricate details.
Every project is in amazing hands with my dedicated team members focusing on design, coordination, procurement, logistics and installation.

I’ve always been a designer at heart. Growing up, I was the little girl constantly rearranging my room—and my friends' rooms, too. I would admire families interiors and think, “Wow, I’d be so happy if creating that was my job.”
After graduating from St. Catherine's School in Richmond, VA, and Sweet Briar College, I spent five years working with a boutique design firm in the DMV area, specializing in high-end construction, renovation and interiors. There, I gained invaluable experience collaborating with architects, builders, and artisans to bring sophisticated, thoughtfully designed spaces to life.
Eventually, I took the leap and launched Anne Pulliam Interiors, where I blend my passion for timeless aesthetics with the technical expertise required for complex renovations and custom builds. My design philosophy is all about balance—mixing high and low pieces to create layered, collected interiors that feel both curated and livable. I love incorporating meaningful antiques alongside unique modern pieces, crafting spaces that tell a story and evolve beautifully over time.
I am so happy to be doing what I love: creating elevated, livable homes that spark joy and stand the test of time.
When I’m not designing, I’m at home with my husband, our two children, and our dog, Moose.
I appreciate you giving API the opportunity to build something beautiful together!

Walker began her career in Manhattan at a woman-owned luxury event production and catering firm, where she worked alongside the founder to expand the business into the Miami and Palm Beach markets. Her background in sales, event production, and operations fueled a deep passion for crafting experiences—ultimately leading her to interior design.
After 15 successful years in the events industry and two house-flipping projects, Walker transitioned into interiors and joined API in 2024. As Director of Operations, she brings a strategic, detail-oriented approach to the firm’s growth and continues to create meaningful spaces that last long after the parties in them are over.

Brynn’s journey into design began in Austin, Texas, where she worked in client relations at an online education startup. She joined API in 2025, bringing a strong foundation in hospitality design developed through her work at Washington, D.C.-based firms HapstakDemetriou+ and Nahra Design Group. Her portfolio spans wineries, markets, restaurants, and even a few ice cream shops. With a keen eye for texture, color, and detail, Brynn finds joy in watching a project evolve from vision to reality. She’s excited to bring her hospitality sensibility into the homes of API clients.

Your home should look like you.
Your home should look like you.
There are a million and one styles out there, but I am most inspired by my clients’ personal style. With each project, I’m working to translate who they are and what they love into dynamic design choices. And although no two homes ever look the same, they’re all infused with color, fun, and comfort. You know, everything we hope to experience in daily life.
“Even though our home feels entirely like us, we can’t believe we get to live here.”
This was a long process, luckily Anne not only does great work, but she was great to work with. We felt like we had a friend and partner alongside us. Anne was honest and realistic while guiding us through the hard architectural design elements and the soft interior design elements of our spaces.”
